Explore laser cutting on leather! This introductory course is a great way to learn how to work with leather and a laser cutter. You’ll discover different types of leather and learn which ones work best for different projects. This course, perfect even if you’ve never worked with leather or a laser cutter before. You’ll gain hands-on skills in: Cutting Laser engraving Shaping / forming Polishing Beveling edges Dyeing / aging leather Working with rivets and snaps Surface finishing Basic stitching But not all of these skills will be included in the course. The projects are simple and fun — mostly making holes, attaching snaps, and polishing. Making coasters and bookmarks, included in the fee. If you want, you can also try slightly bigger projects for an extra leather fee, like a small leather tray or a mouse pad. Bring your creativity and have fun learning the basics of laser cutting on leather!
